BUCHER VR50 Heated Windsreen
Laminated glass, manufactured with high-quality silica sand, sodium carbonate, and metal oxides. It is melted at high temperatures to increase its hardness, and then two sheets of this glass are bonded together, separated by a transparent layer of polyvinyl butyral (PVB), a highly adhesive and durable polymer that keeps fragments contained within the windscreen in the event of a strong impact.

European Standard 43R

Glass Types: It certifies both tempered glass (more resistant, small fragmentation) and laminated glass (windscreens, whose breakage does not project outwards).
Visibility: The standard regulates the transparency of the windscreens and cab windows, requiring safe visibility for the driver. Safety: It guarantees that the glass reduces the risk of serious injury in case of breakage.
