Manufacturing our own brand of sweeper glass enhances competitiveness and provides solutions to market demands. We understand that these components operate in environments where safety and durability are crucial, given that this is technical glass for urban machinery. In the context of urban cleaning machinery, street sweepers operate in environments where visibility and safety are paramount. The glass used in cabs, windows, floors, doors, and upper and lower windscreens serves more than just an aesthetic purpose; it is a fundamental element for the proper functioning of the vehicle and the protection of the operator. For our street sweeper glass, we use various types of materials, such as:

-Tempered glass This is the most common type used due to its mechanical strength and safety. It is obtained through various heat treatments that increase its resistance up to six times compared to ordinary glass.

-Laminated glass. This type of glass is made by bonding two layers of tempered glass together with an intermediate layer of plastic material, preventing glass fragments from detaching and falling into the cabin, making it ideal for windshields.

-Thermal and specialty glass. These are curved glass panes, specially designed for cabins, which can be treated for thermal protection, anti-reflective coatings, or scratch resistance, and in some cases, with integrated sensors in their internal structure.

Cutting and machining. CNC cuts are made according to the cabin model and design. Then, notches are made, edges are finished, and polishing and beveling are performed to prevent internal stresses. All these operations are carried out before tempering to prevent breakage. The glass is cleaned and inspected to remove any imperfections and particles.

The glass is heated to temperatures exceeding 500°C, up to 700°C, followed by rapid cooling with pressurized air. This entire process creates internal stresses in the glass, increasing its resistance to impacts and thermal changes. Bending. For some models of road sweepers, we manufacture hot-formed glass to fit the ergonomics of the cab. Finally, our glass undergoes rigorous quality control, including impact testing, electronic dimensional verification, and optical inspection using specialized machinery. All of this is designed to provide the glass with high impact resistance, thermal resistance to harsh weather conditions, operator safety, vibration resistance, and distortion-free optical transparency.

All of this allows us to optimize costs by manufacturing glass for sweepers of the most widespread brands on the market, using high-precision automated processes, resulting in lighter and more resistant glass, improving their energy efficiency and sustainability, all while complying with European Regulation 43R. We are constantly manufacturing new glass for new models and brands, continually expanding our catalog.
