AEBI SWINGO Rear Side
Tempered glass, manufactured with high-quality silica sand, sodium carbonate, and limestone, all melted at temperatures exceeding 600°C and cooled under high pressure. This process cools the outer layers, hardening the surface and creating internal stress, which gives it its final hardness. The physical configuration of the process causes the glass to shatter into small fragments in the event of a strong impact.

European Standard 43R
Our glass for road sweepers comply with European standard ECE-R43, which establishes the safety and homologation requirements for glazing materials and their installation in vehicles, guaranteeing resistance, transparency, and safety in case of breakage.
This standard is mandatory for windshields in road sweepers, as well as in other vehicles, which must be equipped with the following characteristics.
Identification: All glass must bear the homologation mark, which includes the 43R-XXXXXX designation, indicating compliance with European standards.
Glass Types: It certifies both tempered glass (more resistant, small fragmentation) and laminated glass (windscreens, whose breakage does not project outwards).
Visibility: The standard regulates the transparency of the windscreens and cab windows, requiring safe visibility for the driver. Safety: It guarantees that the glass reduces the risk of serious injury in case of breakage.
